【女性差別】過去の給与は質問してはいけない

採用時に過去の給与を質問してはいけない法律が下記の州や都市で成立しています。全米のトレンドになっているようでね。これは、米国でも男女の賃金格差が依然として存在し、なかなか解消されないことが背景にあります。過去の給与を質問せず、その会社のポジションをベースにした給与(報酬)を支払うことが行われれば、男女の賃金格差はなくなるはずだという論理です。以前の給与(報酬)をベースに新しい仕事の給与が決まってしまうといつまで経っても今の格差を引きずることなるからです。​​​​​​​
